In this month’s episode I provide an overview of two important changes brought about by the recently passed American Rescue Plan Act. This $1.9 trillion dollar package extends optional FFCRA leave and the associated tax credits through September 30th of this year. Additionally, the FFCRA reasons for approved leave have been expanded to include time off for vaccination, time off for illness related to vaccination and time off for COVID testing. FFCRA banks reloaded on April 1st for any participating employers and the changes don’t stop there.
